MCO kicks off its 8th season of excitement with Beethoven’s timeless Symphony no. 7 and with the return of virtuoso Pip Clarke in a continuation of the Mozart Violin Concerto Cycle. Gwyneth Walker’s “About Leaves”, inspired by the poetry of Robert Frost, will also bring the brilliance of a New England autumn to the concert hall.

MCO brightens the holiday season and keeps an old tradition alive with concert performances of Menotti’s beloved holiday opera, Amahl and the Night Visitors. The whole family will enjoy this simple story of the crippled boy Amahl who, one starlit night, meets the Three Wise Men on their way to Bethlehem and experiences nothing less than a miracle! Appropriate for ages 6 and up.
