As a significant part of the vibrant cultural life of Silicon Valley, the Mission Chamber Orchestra of San José has been proud to present performances combining new music, recognized masterpieces, and thrilling soloists. Programming is selected to reach out to new audiences and include many of the ethnic groups residing in Silicon Valley. Talented high school string players also perform side-by-side with MCOSJ's musicians in most subscription concerts. These side-by-sides are both educational and exciting experiences for the valley's young musicians and encourages them to continue with their musical studies after high school.

Because the Mission Chamber Orchestra of San José strives to keep ticket costs affordable for all audience members, the cost of producing these programs is covered only about 20% by ticket sales. The balance of funding must be raised through donations, grants, and special events. We would appreciate your help so that we can continue to bring these quality programs to the Silicon Valley community.
